1. Project Title
Be Socially Responsible (BSR)

2. Goal and Objectives
The goal of the project is to increase awareness and knowledge among individuals and communities on issues of social responsibility, the social good, and social ethics — a mission Resurrection Ministry approaches through its Christian faith and values. What does it mean to be socially responsible? What is the social good, and how do we move toward it? What are social ethics, and how should they be lived out day to day?
The specific objectives are:
► To identify a moral and ethical framework that supports everyday decisions in the social, political, economic, and environmental fields.
► To raise awareness and expand access to knowledge — from the local to the global level — on why social and ethical responsibility matters, as a step toward challenging injustice and addressing society’s moral failures.
► To educate and develop socially responsible, knowledgeable individuals.
► To produce and co-produce content across all media formats in support of this mission.
► To encourage individuals, communities, social groups, institutions, and organizations to take action, and to provide them with the media materials and tools to do so.
3. Focus
How should societies address today’s social issues? How can individuals and communities respond to hunger, poverty, misery, corruption, human trafficking, illiteracy, inequality, oppression, and other forms of injustice? What is our responsibility toward human rights, dignity, peace, conflict resolution, and justice?
Are values like integrity, honesty, tolerance, mercy, forgiveness, love, kindness, faithfulness, fairness, and truthfulness meant to guide daily life and decisions — a duty, an option, or both?
For Resurrection Ministry, these questions carry an added dimension: how does a life of faith translate into sustained commitment — spiritual, social, political, economic, and environmental — to the well-being of one’s own community and the wider world?
3.1 Statement
We believe that all individuals have an obligation to be involved — directly or indirectly, through knowledge, awareness, and action — with today’s social problems, and a duty to help create and implement solutions to society’s injustices and moral failures.
Thus, the project: Be Socially Responsible (BSR).
4. Themes
To achieve its objectives, and to fully understand and implement the notion of social responsibility, Resurrection Ministry will work over a 5-year period, 2021–2026, incorporating the following themes:
► Morals and Ethics, and Social Responsibility-Good
► Poverty, Hunger and Misery, and Human Dignity
► Peace, Reconciliation, and Forgiveness
► Justice, Mercy, Equality, Oppression and Human Rights
► Political Involvement, Rule of Law, Corruption and Bribery
► Protecting the Environment
5. Plan
Resurrection Ministry plans to:
► Organize conferences, lectures and workshops.
► Create and manage educating-awareness campaigns.
► Produce specialized video interviews, mini-documentaries, public service ads, video reports, talk shows, and other styles and genres of production.
► Design printable material, flyers, posters, and web banners.
► Establish a heavy and permanent online presence.
► Develop and execute an online and offline promotion-distribution plan for all productions and awareness material.
6. Location/Language
Although the six themes above are relevant to all peoples, Resurrection Ministry has chosen to promote them in the United Kingdom (later in other English-speaking countries) and in Middle Eastern countries. The project’s plan will be executed in English and Arabic, nationally and internationally, targeting primarily British society and Arabic-speaking countries: Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and other Gulf countries.
7. Beneficiaries
The dual-language approach — English and Arabic — and the variety of design and production styles will enable this project to reach a wide range of English- and Arabic-speaking audiences: TV channels and viewers, social media followers, humanitarians, social workers, NGOs, focus groups, organizations, schools and universities, churches, religious and ethnic groups, and many others.
8. Programs
Budget figures from the original brief have been intentionally omitted below — not lost in editing, withheld for this presentation.
The “Be Socially Responsible” project starts with three programs, produced in the UK and Lebanon, each built to highlight the six themes above:
I. Themes Video Reports
At a frequency of two per week, over 12 months, the BSR project produces 104 news-style video reports, three minutes each. [Cost figures withheld]
II. Themes Awareness Video Interviews
